Designed "backwards" with the front of the house where the back would usually be, so that the front looks out over the countryside (makes perfect sense if your hunting !) and set well away from a little used road makes for perfect secluded tranquility, perfect for quality family time, relaxation and bank robbers seeking to keep a low profile !!
With it's 8 bedrooms and 14 to 16 people (seated for dining) capacity both inside and in the grounds, it's an authentic French family house ideal for like minded or family groups to take a break.
Although rural and secluded the nearest town is less than 2 miles away and has all you'll need day to day, while the surrounding area is mainly flat: ideal for cycling and rural: ideal for bird watching, fishing and so on.
Poitiers, a much larger cultural town with lots of history, is only just over an hour away by car and has a good selection of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and beautiful architecture :
* Church of Notre Dame la Grande (An amazing masterpiece of ancient architecture. A must see - full of atmosphere and mystery)
* Cathedrale Saint-Pierre (built by Alienor of Aquitaine and her husband Henry II of England, with the most beautiful stained glass windows)
