In small village, with bakery, cafés and shops, close to bike tracks and oyster farms. Completely renovated in the last few years, to create an open, modern space, with fitted kitchen, two new bathrooms and tastefully furnished, with child-friendly pool, secluded garden, a pétanque parcours, and plenty of parking. Great location for beaches, biking holiday, for accessing the oyster farms, and for children (local goat farm, horse riding, tennis etc). Guests can access all areas, and use all facilities, including fully equipped kitchen (with children's crockery and cutlery, plus two Stokke chairs), swimming pool, BBQ, pétanque and other sports equipment, plus the four adult bikes. The house is on the edge of Loix, a pretty port village with a daily fruit, meat, fish market in season, close to beaches, oyster farms, salt marshes and the bike tracks which criss-cross the Ile de Ré. A calm street, with friendly neighbours, the garden and pool are secluded, protected from the west winds and with no one overlooking it. Two child friendly beaches are within 10 min bike rides. The beautiful village of Ars-en -Ré is a 20 minute bike ride away; St Martin a bit further. Loix has a great bakery. And large supermarkets are only 10 min car journey away.
