Summary: For the third year in a row we stayed at the Hotel Baudouin in Valenciennes on the return journey from our holiday. This is and remains the ideal hotel for us. The rooms are spacious, remarkably quiet and the beds are excellent. We only regret that all bathrooms only have a bathtub but no shower. We can always park in the courtyard and the breakfast this year was better than ever: more varied and of excellent quality. Last but not least, the employees are extremely friendly and helpful. All these points in combination with the price make this the ideal hotel for us.

Summary: To us Hôtel Baudouin in Valenciennes was the perfect choice. The hotel offers nice rooms for a very good price, a private parking, good breakfast and dogs are allowed here. All this together is what we look for when we travel. This hotel also happens to be very close to a beautiful park, the «Park Rhônelle». And the city centre with lots of shops and restaurants is also just a short walk from the hotel. The staff is very, very friendly and helpfull. The room was perfectly clean. And we hope to be back next summer.

Summary: very nice hotel, perfect for the football stadium , 5 minutes walk. Also, a very pleasant park nearby. Good access from the motorway, parking in street or in a dedicated car park. Baudoin being renovated and well up to Ibis standards. Nice quiet area, really felt like the real France, not just a standard, could be anywhere stay

Summary: I think this hotel has fairly recently been taken over by Ibis and the decor is in the process of being updated. The breakfast room/bar has been decorated beautifully and once the bedrooms have been brought up to this standard it will all look very smart. Our bedroom was a good size with a very comfortable bed, but the decor just looked dated and plain, although perfectly clean. The hotel has a good sized secure car park.
