Summary: Patrick was an excellent host who was onsite almost all of the time to help out if we had any questions at all! We were a group of 10 that stayed in the log cabin and it was very well appointed with a very nice way of making each section private from the other. The main room on the main floor was comfortable and right across the hall from the bathroom. The stairs up were a bit treacherous due to not having an outside guard rail, but the hand rope was helpful to hold when taking luggage up and down. There were plenty of outlets to use and the upstairs bed was comfortable, but due to it being the loft, the ceilings were low and one could easily hit their head against the doorway or the ceiling, especially if they were tall. The whole place was set up in an awesome rustic style which was very unique and well thought out. The view looking out from the kitchen and living rooms was fantastic and the jacuzzi below, which we didn't have time to use, was well-placed with an excellent view, down below the house. Parking up above the property allowed one to get some cardio every day when wanting to leave, due to having to climb a steep hill to get there! The overall experience of the 10 of us who stayed there, 4 on one side and 6 on the other, was very positive and we would love to come back and stay there again, renting the whole facility! The few things that I would change are #1: the door to the microwave and trash swings widely open if unlatched, making it imperative to unlatch and latch the door every time something inside is used. In addition, it would be nice to have larger bath towels and a few hand towels in the bathrooms to dry one's hands. The internet was workable, though slow, but it would be best for you and your family to interact together rather than being on social media or email all of the time anyway! I hate to put the negative things down since our overall experience was so positive, but being the persons that you are, I know that you will take those suggestions constructively! Again, thank you Patrick and Natasha for being such an incredible host and hostess! Au revoir!
