From start to finish, Michael went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The Property: The flat was perfectly situated right by the beach, offering breathtakingly views and easy access to the shoreline. Additionally, a large shopping mall was just a 5-minute walk away, making it incredibly convenient for any last-minute needs. The bus stop right at the entrance of the mall was a bonus, allowing us to explore the area effortlessly. Michael, the Host: Michael truly stood out as an exceptional host. Despite living two hours away from the airport, he graciously picked us up at 10 PM when our flight arrived. His warm welcome and willingness to accommodate our late arrival made us feel instantly at ease. Michael took the time to explain everything about the flat, ensuring we had a smooth check-in process. Thoughtful Amenities: The flat was well-stocked with a variety of alcoholic beverages, juices, and other drinks. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials, allowing us to prepare meals comfortably. Our toddler had a blast exploring the beach, and the convenience of having everything we needed right at our fingertips made our stay even more enjoyable. Surprise Gift: On our last day, Michael met us again and not only dropped us off at the airport but also surprised our little one with a beautiful gift. It’s these personal touches that set Michael apart as a host who genuinely cares about his guests’ experience. Negative: Nothing about accommodation. Taking a pram on public transportation turned out to be quite an ordeal during our recent trip. Unfortunately, our experiences were less than pleasant due to several factors: Unfriendly Bus Drivers: The bus drivers seemed uncooperative and unfriendly. Despite our requests for space to accommodate the pram, they often ignored us or refused to assist. This lack of consideration made our bus journeys uncomfortable. Occupied Wheelchair and Pram Space: The designated wheelchair and pram area was consistently occupied by standing passengers. Even when we politely asked for space, they wouldn’t yield. As a result, our bus rides became increasingly frustrating. Resorting to Uber Taxis: Frustrated with the bus situation, we eventually relied more on Uber taxis. While this solved the immediate problem, it was an added expense that we hadn’t anticipated. Challenges at Train Stations: Train stations posed an even greater challenge. Most stations lacked lifts or proper arrangements for prams. Carrying the pram on our shoulders became the only option, which was physically demanding and tiring. Traveling to Monaco: If you plan to travel to Monaco from the nearest train station to our accommodation, especially with children, be prepared. Consider choosing a station with better facilities to avoid unnecessary stress. In summary, our experiences with public transportation highlighted the need for improved accessibility and consideration for passengers with prams. Hopefully, future travellers can find better solutions or choose stations that offer more convenience.
