Located in a protected Natura 2000 area, this exceptional cottage offers peace, relaxation, and space on 2 hectares between woods and canals. Le Bas Marais is in the Marais Poitevin, southern Vendée.
This bright cottage for 5 features large glass doors opening onto the garden and canal. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven, and microwave, and opens onto the living room with TV. There is one bedroom with a double bed, one with a bunk bed (double below, single above), and a spacious bathroom.
Each cottage shares a wall with neighbors but has its own private garden at the back, separated by shrubs, with a terrace, barbecue, outdoor furniture, and loungers facing the canal.
The heated, secure pool is open mid-May to late September (weather permitting), from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
For leisure, enjoy outdoor games: football, badminton, ping-pong, volleyball, darts, swing, slide, and Molkky. Bikes are available to borrow, and you can take a boat ride on the Hollandais Canal.
Fishing enthusiasts are welcome—please bring your own gear.
