Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Very nice apartment, very clean. There is a small kitchen with a few pans and some plates, cups and cutlery. There is a fridge with a small freezer compartment. The living area consists of a small table, a couch and a tv. The bedroom has a small 2-person bed with a firm mattress. There is a small bathroom with a bath, shower and sink. The toilet is separate. It all feels quite spacious and again, very clean. Even the kettle was clean, which you don't see very often. The location is nice, it's very close to Neuf-Brisach, and you have your own parking spot (within a closed parking lot that you can access through a gate). It's a great place to stay if you want to explore the Elsas. We felt very much at home here and it appears that a lot of love and attention has been put into this place.

Negative: The biggest downside of this apartment is that it's less suitable for tall people. It's perfectly fine if you are smaller than 1.80m, but as Dutch persons the shower head was WAY too low, and the bed has a high firm footboard, which does not allow for dangling your feet over the edge (which always happens when you are tall). The bed is also quite narrow (1.40m I think), which we didn't really understand since the space would definitely allow for a wider bed. This, in combination with the footboard, did not really accommodate a good night's sleep. One other small point for improvement: the kitchen does have a couple of pans and plates, but it lacks some basic necessities, like bowls, or a proper knife for cutting vegetables. So if you plan on cooking yourself here, it might be good to take some essentials with you.
