Summary: Spacious property in a beautiful village. A very friendly welcome on arrival. Property is old which adds to the authentic French experience. However, inside the property has been completely and stylishly renovated and modernised to an extremely high standard. Outside decking is delightful. It is mostly covered by a large awning which makes it a very social space in very warm or even in wet weather. Beautiful views of the river. Steps lead down to a garden area where you can sit at the river and enjoy the peaceful scenery. This property has everything you could possibly need – a home from home. The village itself is lovely and the residents very friendly. Lovely boulanger at the end of the street; creperie/bar and mini supermarket also nearby. Ideally located to visit Mayenne and to see Château de la Motte-Husson (Channel 4s 'Escape to the Chateau'). Also nearby are beautiful towns such as Vitré, Laval, Fougères and many more. All in all, this property is wonderful. Thank you Nathalie and family for our wonderful stay. Truly an excellent property. The Healy family, Ireland.
