Summary: Where to begin. Such a beautiful Gite, so private and quiet! The pool is incredible, and the gite well stocked, we had everything we needed. There were games, tv, ping pong, foosball, we always had plenty to do. The views and surroundings are absolutely breathtaking! The best part though were the hosts, Phillip and Beatrice. They left a wonderful welcome aperitif for us as we arrived, beautiful cheese scones, meats and home made jam, wine and juice! They were extremely respectful of privacy. Such a lovely couple, even though we spoke no French we were able to have a decent conversation. They said we can use the grounds as if it were our own, so very sweet. Maurice the cat is absolutely beautiful, he would pop over for an occasional visit although we were told this wasn’t usual for him to do so. My husband is a cat magnet though. There were 3 tortoises on the grounds, and they were an absolute joy to watch, just watch your toes for nibbles. Toulouse is a stunning place to visit and there was a Saturday market we went to in Revel, full of herbs, cheeses, breads of all kinds and absolutely worth a visit. Will stay here again in a heartbeat- you won’t regret it. Lidl is 5 min drive and so is McDonald’s if you’re fancying a burger! Thank you both for a wonderful holiday and for making us feel so welcome.
